Travis County COVID-19 vaccine tracker: 58% of people fully vaccinated
Travis County has administered more than 1,440,908 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine, as of Aug. 3, according to data from the Texas Department of State Health Services.
That's up 1.31% from the previous week's tally of 1,422,330 COVID-19 doses administered.
In Travis County, 58% of people living in Travis County are fully vaccinated as of Aug. 3. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention considers someone fully vaccinated two weeks after they've been given a single-dose shot (Johnson & Johnson) or a second shot (either Pfizer or Moderna).

Texas reported 3,172,919 total cases of coronavirus, an increase of 2% from the week before.
The five counties with the highest percentage of their population fully vaccinated in Texas as of Aug. 3 are Presidio County (68%), Hudspeth County (65%), Fort Bend County (60%), Webb County (60%) and Starr County (59%).
